This is a Japanese Hori Tokusa Red Mino-yaki (or Seto-yaki) ceramic kyusu teapot and matching cup.

• Colouir Palette: Unlike the deep charcoal-black version, this variant features a striking brick-red to warm terracotta glaze.

• Tokusa Pattern: It utilizes the same traditional Hori Tokusa (carved line) technique, where vertical stripes are scraped by hand through the red slip before firing, exposing a contrasting greyish-white rustic clay texture underneath.

• Form & Components: The set features a wide-bottomed body, an ergonomic side-spout for pouring green tea, a flat-fitting lid with a top knob, and a sturdy loop handle. The cup perfectly mirrors the ribbed, thrown texture and hand-carved stripes of the teapot.
