Japanese Hariko Mask.
Hariko is a Japanese traditional paper mache that has been made for over 400 years.
Several layers of Japanese washi paper are pasted over the frames and left to dry before been decorated.

Kitsune are foxes in Japanese folklore, traditionally associated with Inari, the Shinto deity of rice, prosperity and good fortune. Foxes are regarded as sacred and protective figures and are often seen at Japanese shrines and festivals. Traditional fox masks like this are now less commonly made, making them increasingly rare and special.
